Forever Odd by Dean Koontz

This sequel to Odd Thomas is a quick read about a young man who not only sees dead people but is drawn to them and they to him. This helps him solve crimes in the desert town of Pico undo and gets him into all sorts of death-defying trouble. Koontz is quite humorous and keeps you on your toes not only keeping up with the plot but also catching his humor.

The Funny Thing Is by Ellen DeGeneres

My first book on my iPod. Great for me; probably more entertaining for the neighborhood as I walked the dog, listening to this very funny book, laughing all the way. DeGeneres does a sort of stream of consciousness rambling from topic to topic. One of my favorites was her monologue about how impossible it is to get some packaging open and that to open a package of scissors, you need a pair of scissors. Exactly!
