Little Earthquakes by Jennifer Weiner

I first listened to Little Earthquakes on CD in the car. Like a number of audiobooks I've rented lately, this one scratched and skipped in all the wrong places. I was to the last chapter and it completely stopped. So, I cussed, beat the dashboard, returned the CDs (quit my membership to Bookears) and borrowed the real book from a friend. I started at page 1 and not only did I not want to put it down, but I really didn't want it to end. It's a heartwarming story of friends dealing with their highest and lowest moments of life. Four women, three of whom are expecting and one of whom recently lost her baby to SIDS, meet and forge fast friendships that are ultimately what gets them through. This will have to find a place in the top 20 and I'm anxious to read Good in Bed and In Her Shoes also by Weiner.
